
It’s official! Thanks to your membership vote, TransWest Credit Union is now Utah Community Federal Credit Union (UCCU). Welcome to UCCU!
During the initial phases of becoming fully integrated into UCCU (which will be completed this summer), TransWest will operate as a division of UCCU. We’ll keep you informed about account updates and the exciting new membership benefits for you and your family.
Here’s what you need to know:
- No action is required right now. Your current TransWest accounts, Visa cards, and online access still work. You will receive more details in the coming months.
- Loan payments should continue to be made to TransWest until you receive notice that TransWest is fully integrated with UCCU.
- Same branches, same friendly faces. The employees you know and trust have all joined the UCCU team and will continue to assist you.
- The news of our merger with UCCU is now public, and fraudsters may try and exploit that fact. UCCU will never contact you to ask for your username, password, PIN, SSN, verification codes/code word, or card/account numbers. If you are concerned about a text, call, or email you receive, please contact us at (801) 487-1692.

On January 1, 2025, TransWest Credit Union Members, branches, and staff officially became part of Utah Community Federal Credit Union (UCCU).
Yes! Anyone who was a TransWest Credit Union Member on December 31, 2024, is now a UCCU Member.
All TransWest branch locations will continue to operate as normal. Employees you know and trust have joined the UCCU team and will continue to serve you and your financial needs.
The merger plan has many phases and will be completed this summer. For now, please continue to access and manage your accounts using the same debit/credit cards, checks, and digital banking login the way you do today.

For now, all of your member and account numbers will stay the same. We will keep you informed of any changes you can expect as we get closer to being fully merged, which is planned for completion this summer.

Continue to make payments on your loan the same way you do today at TransWest. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance.
Yes! You will not experience any changes to your direct deposit.
Yes! You will not experience any changes to your payments and transfers at this time. As we get closer to having our computer systems being fully integrated later this summer, you will receive details about any of your automatic payments/transfers that will need to be set up with UCCU; like debit/credit card, online banking, and Bill Pay.

Until our computer systems have been fully integrated with UCCU (this summer) please continue to use the existing TransWest branch network.
For right now, everything will stay the same when you login to your current digital banking experience at TransWestCU.com or on the TransWest mobile app. Once we are fully integrated, you’ll simply set up a new digital banking login with UCCU.
